……was the name of my registered albino palomino racking mare. Although I loved every horse I owned, she was my dream horse and was very special. Her extremely long mane and tail gave her a magical unicorn look. Her rack was so smooth that it was like moving in a well tuned car when riding her. She passed away at age 5. We aren’t sure why when we found her in the pasture with no marks other than a drop of blood on her nostril. It broke my heart, and I’ve never forgotten her.
I delved into a new art medium today. The pastel pencils and pad I ordered came and were waiting this evening when I arrived home, calling me to come play!

So, of course, I sat down as soon as possible after Wednesday night church service. The first thing I wanted to draw was my beautiful Fancy with her gorgeous blue eyes. The next thing I knew, it was 4 hours later and well past my bedtime.
It was time well spent. I so enjoyed creating a version of my favorite horse. I’m actually shocked the sketch came out so well. I think I’m going to love using this new medium.
