I’m really loving watercolors and have done several over the last few months. It’s easy, not messy, and I can come and go as life demands without worry of the need to complete a piece in one sitting.
I have had some old prints for years, possibly from Home Interiors, that I decided to make my own rendition of using watercolors. They are 11×14 that I placed back in the old print original frames.

Then I painted an accompanying piece of my own that I felt went well with the groping, as the original group had 2 very similar prints of the old barn. I like my addition much better.

I painted a few other pictures with the intention of selling, but I’m leaning heavily on keeping the glove nest and having it framed. The Chickadee is also chirping at my heart. One of the downfalls of an artist is separating themselves from loved creations. Birds are a true love of mine as part of God’s beautiful creations in nature.

It isn’t like I don’t have plenty of wall space to display my art. It is just hard to create enough for a show if I keep wanting to keep it to myself☺️. I HAVE started framing with regular glass instead of museum glass in order to let them go more easily if someone truly wants them.
