Two of my latest sketches. This portrait of Max, a six year old shitzu, was delivered today to my best friend for her 68th birthday. Her dog Max is her constant companion. She was so surprised and thrilled as she had no idea I was sketching him for her.
Keyz portrait was mailed to his forever home a few weeks ago. We stayed in a wonderful B&B recently, and the owners asked me to draw Keyz for friends of theirs. He was a sweet Yorkshire Terrier who had passed away far too early and unexpectedly. This was a surprise gift from them to the owners who were beyond pleased and grateful.
I so love making people happy with my art.
