It seems summer has sprung here in the deep south and that leads, more often than not, to less concentration on full oven cooked meals. Skinless, boneless chicken is a staple in our home, whether baked, broiled, boiled or grilled. It was just a matter of coming up with delicious sides to complete the meal. The fridge is brimming over with fresh fruits and vegetables after a recent run to the local veggie stand. Choices! Choices! I managed to snag another bunch of that wonderful USA grown asparagus so it was a no brainer to add a bit of roasted garlic season and layer the chicken on top so the juices sautéed it to perfection while it baked. That was the oven part. Then came fresh USA grown Haas avocados with a touch of salt and pepper, local grown cold sweet cantaloupe and healthy no grain, crisp crackers. These Crunch Master Crackers are the BOMB in taste, nutrition and crunch! My favorite are the original but they have lots of amazing flavors. They are one of my favorite healthy snacks.

My goto beverage for most meals except breakfast….. love my coffee……is generally water because the body can never get too much hydration. It also allows me to enjoy all these delicious fresh food tastes unhindered by a flavored drink.
